Spotlight: Progressive 3yo; loves Redcar and extended his unbeaten record here when making all over C&D in August, from Debora's Dream who went one better next time; wasn't beaten far in a big field at York on latest start and almost certainly remains in form; may still have untapped potential; big shout.

Spotlight: Fourth in this race 12 months ago and arrives in decent form after a never-nearer third at Newcastle last week; holds no secrets from the handicapper but has reasonable each-way claims.

Spotlight: Right back to form under William Pyle on his last two starts, finishing second to Double Parked over C&D before winning over 1m2f here 18 days ago; handles good to firm and soft ground and should be thereabouts.

Spotlight: Runner-up eight times since his last win in June 2024; had no luck in running at Newcastle last Sunday but there were no obvious excuses at Ayr the time before.

Spotlight: Mostly creditable efforts in 2025 and he won at Thirsk (7f, good to firm) in August; Chester's extended 1m2f possibly stretched his stamina last time; could bounce back but as a 7yo he's more exposed than some of these.

Spotlight: Hasn't been long with David O'Meara and he's knocking at the door, beaten 1l or less when second at York and fifth at Southwell, both over 1m; may still have some untapped potential and he's high on the list.

Spotlight: Sole win came in 2022 and he wasn't at his best when fifth at Newcastle last time (split Leadenhall and Barley); his yard has more obvious claims with the in-form Jez Bomb, but this one was a good second over C&D in August and can't be discounted completely.

Spotlight: Proving a model of consistency and he's better than ever of late as well, winning at Doncaster and Thirsk (both 1m) in the summer and running a cracker despite meeting trouble when second of 13 over C&D 18 days ago; soft ground would be an unknown (all four wins on good or firmer) but otherwise he has plenty in his favour.

Spotlight: In prime form in July, winning twice (7f/1m) at Ayr, but the wheels seem to have come off since and he beat only one home on the same course last time; others preferred.

Spotlight: Raced alone part of way when fifth to Double Parked here in August on stable debut; ran well next time and 1m2f may have stretched her stamina at Ayr 16 days ago; like Rajapour, she may have more to offer for this yard.

Spotlight: Goes well at Pontefract (three wins) but he was only sixth of nine there last time and some of his stablemates look higher up the pecking order.

Spotlight: Hardy veteran with 12 wins to his name; two of them came this term, at Beverley (1m2f, good to firm) and Carlisle (1m, soft); only 3lb higher than for the second success but this race is more competitive.

Spotlight: Showed his liking for Redcar with C&D wins in June and July; things haven't gone to plan since but he met trouble here in August and a heavy defeat last time came in the Legends race at Doncaster; not inconceivable he'll bounce back.
