Spotlight: Well-connected filly by Night Of Thunder out of UAE 1,000 Guineas winner; easy to back at 14-1 for her recent Ascot debut (7f, good to firm) but she showed up really well, looking as though she might go all the way but was worn down late by rivals with experience; should progress and make a serious impact; holds an Irish 1,000 Guineas entry.

Spotlight: Second foal; by Dubawi out of 7f/1m 2yo winner (including Listed; RPR 102), sister to Group-placed 1m winner Queen For You, half-sister to multiple 7f Group 2 winner Glorious Journey (by Dubawi), out of Group 1 Coronation Stakes winner Fallen For You; yard has 35% strike-rate with 2yos here in the last five years; a very likely newcomer.

Spotlight: Out of Oaks winner Talent; unfancied 33-1 shot for her Bath debut (1m, good to firm) in September but she travelled nicely for a long way and was by no means out of her depth in third to a long odds-on favourite and a subsequent winner; likely to improve plenty.

Spotlight: 180,000euros yearling; fourth foal; Lope De Vega sister to 7.4f-1m4f winner Going The Distance (including 2yo/AW; RPR 104); dam French/US 8.5f-9.5f winner (including AW/Grade 3; 97); yard won a division of this with a newcomer (favourite) in 2024 and the betting should be helpful.

Spotlight: 300,000euros yearling; second foal; St Mark's Basilica half-sister to US/Canadian 5f/5.5f turf winner Wooten Warrior; dam 7f winner (RPR 95), sister to 1m Listed winner So Wonderful, from family of Galileo and Sea The Stars; yard runs three and has won this race or a division of it four times since 2021, three with newcomers; the market should be helpful.

Spotlight: First foal; by Gleneagles out of 1m-1m2f winner (including 2yo/AW/Group 2; RPR 115), half-sister to winners Castle Cove (useful 1m2f-1m4f) and Canterbury Bell (7f-1m2f including 2yo); interesting newcomer from yard that runs three; market can guide.

Spotlight: Second foal; by Palace Pier out of unraced half-sister to winners Cannock Chase (Canadian 1m4f Grade 1), Star Catcher (Irish Oaks and two other Group 1s) and Pisco Sour (1m2f Group 2); makes obvious appeal on pedigree for yard that runs three.

Spotlight: Eighth foal; Zoustar half-sister to winners Illaunmore (1m AW, including 2yo; RPR 102) and Papa Stour (6f-1m including AW; 96); dam Group-placed 6f AW 2yo winner (98), half-sister to 1m Listed winner Redolent; Ibtekar looks the yard's main hope.

Spotlight: Modest form in two 1m starts, blinkers added to a hood in September and now discarded; handicaps will be the way forward after today.

Spotlight: 120,000euros foal; fourth foal; by Starspangledbanner; half-sister to 6f winner Carla Ridge (including 2yo/Listed; RPR 111); dam unraced half-sister to Group-placed 5f 2yo winner Celtic Beauty and Australian Group-placed 1m-1m1f winner Top Ravine; likely to need the run and no surprise if she finds this company rather overpowering.

Spotlight: Second foal; by Harry Angel; dam placed 11.6f/1m4f (RPR 58), closely related to 1m4f Listed winner Fleur Forsyte, out of maiden half-sister to 1m Listed winner Dolores (dam of good stayers Duncan, Samuel and Gretchen); likely to need time.
