Spotlight: 7f novice win at Epsom in June; didn't shine in his first three handicaps but back on the up with cheekpieces added (retained) when seeing off 11 rivals over C&D (soft) last week; took that with something to spare and there could easily be more to come if the headgear continues to have a positive effect.

Spotlight: Readily opened his account in AW event on third start; midfield on Salisbury handicap debut kept to 6f next time but resumed his progression upped to 7f when finishing strongly for second of 11 here (good to soft) 22 days ago; leading claims with further improvement likely.

Spotlight: Six wins in excellent 2025 and added to tally at York (1m, good to firm) in July; another cracker at York when second of 20 (1m again, soft) three weeks ago; same mark today and just as effective at 7f.

Spotlight: Broadly inconsistent and 0-15 since completing a novice double as a 2yo but he was better than the result (not clear run) when sixth of 17 at Leicester (7f, good to soft) 18 days ago.

Spotlight: Back-to-back 1m wins at Yamouth (good to firm) in June and returned to form in a first-time visor (retained) when narrowly denied by Noble Guest there (7f, soft) 11 days ago; the Dylan Cunha stable continues to go well in general.

Spotlight: Winner over 7f/1m at Ascot (good/good to firm) this year but only eighth there off this mark last time; bounce back needed.

Spotlight: Best effort last term came when winning Hamilton handicap on good to soft and he was back on the scoresheet when taking heavy ground Ayr event (6f) this month; disappointed at Doncaster last week, though; races beyond a sprint trip for first time.

Spotlight: Both wins achieved on heavy ground; sent off favourite faced with similar conditions at Doncaster last weekend but ran poorly in ninth; hard to know what to expect after that.

Spotlight: Raced at 7f; most disappointing on Sandown handicap debut (good to soft) last month but this sister to connections' Group 1 winner Dreamloper had made steady progress prior to that, including a Chester maiden win on good; no surprise were she to resume her improvement now.

Spotlight: 8yo who was runner-up twice over 7f off higher marks in the spring but a series of lesser efforts have followed; hard to be confident.

Spotlight: Drew clear for ready success at Chepstow (7f, good to soft) in August; posted another good effort at Yarmouth (7f, good) last month but latest Ayr fifth was no more than respectable.

Spotlight: 7f AW win for Denis Quinn last season; running well for his new trainer too, including narrowly denied by Silver Trumpet at Epsom (7f, good to firm; acts on good to soft) in July; given time since a poor effort at Chepstow a week later and a good record fresh brings him into the reckoning.

Spotlight: Off the mark at the 13th attempt when winning at Ayr (7f, good) in August and he followed up at Beverley (7.5f, soft); solid effort when fourth back at Beverley next time but only midfield on AW latest.

Spotlight: A lot of his recent best has been saved for Epsom, including edging out Stenmark there (7f, good to firm) in July; two runner-up efforts over that C&D since (including in first-time blinkers) but slowly away and never involved at Kempton last time.

Spotlight: Started brightly, including a C&D handicap debut third on good in April, but has found life harder since; not actually beaten that far over 6f on his last two outings but needed to see more to consider; a first-time hood joins his tongue-tie.

Spotlight: Finally took advantage of his reduced mark in a Class 6 at Lingfield (7f, AW) seven weeks ago; has changed hands since and new yard equips him with a first-time hood; first turf start since June 2025.
