Spotlight Beaten 37l, 25l and 51l in her novice/maiden hurdles (2m-2m5f, good to soft) last season; makes some appeal on pedigree now switching to handicaps with a tongue-tie added; market will guide.

Spotlight Three-time winner in February 2023 but largely disappointing since; ran one of her better races when a respectable fifth, in a race that has produced winners since, at Newton Abbot in August (2m3f, good; Ryder's Rock behind in 6th); comes with risk but is undoubtedly well treated and needs considering.

Spotlight Showed the benefit of June's Newton Abbot reappearance when winning a fast-ground handicap hurdle at Stratford (2m2f) the following month off 5lb lower; likely there's more to come after just two starts in handicaps but has to prove herself on a slower surface back in distance.

Spotlight Irish point winner; left a disappointing handicap debut behind when a close second at Wexford (2m1f, soft; first-time tongue-tie) back from a break in May but could only finish a 21l seventh of 18 at Listowel (2m4f, good) on final start for Declan Queally the following month; considered on stable debut with cheekpieces now added.

Spotlight Displayed promise when chasing home a subsequent winner on her final start in bumpers; well held on all three starts over hurdles (2m2f-2m), although she has offered more since the hood went on; pedigree suggests she'll appreciate a stiffer test in time but enters calculations on handicap debut.

Spotlight Four-time winner over hurdles, most recently at Taunton (2m, soft) in January off 2lb lower, but finished last season out of sorts; more exposed than most but has won off the back of a break in the past and can't be ruled out if back on song.

Spotlight Best effort in novice/maiden hurdles for Lucinda Russell came when just under a 9l fifth of ten at Kelso (2m, good to soft) in May but finished well-beaten on handicap debut (2m4f) the following month; still early days but probably best watched on debut for new stable.

Spotlight Beaten wide margins on all three starts for this stable; cheekpieces need to bring about significant improvement.

Spotlight Low-mileage 5yo; debut bumper winner in March 2023; pick of three runs over hurdles came when just over 1l second in a C&D maiden in August and can be forgiven her most recent effort back here when appearing not to stay 2m4f; respected on handicap debut, back in trip.

Spotlight Improved to finish second on handicap debut at Huntingdon (2m4f, good) in April but left Charlie Longsdon after a disappointing effort that same month; failed to justify favouritism but didn't run badly when fourth at Hereford (2m4f) on debut for Fergal O'Brien two days ago.

Spotlight Displayed ability in good-ground Irish maiden hurdles in the spring but she's not kicked on from a promising start for this stable in August, most recently tailed off at Exeter (2m, good) only six-days ago; tongue-tie now added.

Spotlight Built on April's hurdle debut when winning at Bangor (2m, good) the following month but that form has taken some knocks since; still early days for this unexposed 4yo and she enters handicaps off what looks a workable mark; lacks experience but respected.

Spotlight 2-16 over hurdles and was only just touched off at Worcester (2m, good) in July but has been well beaten back there since, as well as on the Flat; capable of getting involved of on a going day but others are safer.
